Building on a foundation of work in private-sector industry, individualized education at Goddard College, training in International Baccalaureate classrooms, skill-building in urban charter schools, team-teaching at a Career and Technical Center, and Standards-based success in general education, I seek to continue my growth as an educator and leader.
My skill-set is founded on Project-Based Curriculum, Proficiency-Based Assessment, and relationship-based instruction and classroom management. English-Spanish bilingual skills, and a postmodern and postcolonial theoretical basis, help me to create learning environments which are culturally responsive, supportive, and challenging for all.
